Feldman Dinner
An account of Lubbock and West Texas Jewry, going back to the first Jewish settlers in the 1920's. The name of families and their occupations, the development of first Orthodox, then Reform synagogues. Told by someone who lived through most of it. Click here An account of the Feldman Dinner held 2/11/95. This event honored Marvin Feldman, first Jew born in Lubbock (1927) and the person responsible for getting our present Temple built. The dinner was held in Feldman Hall on the Temple's 10th Anniversary. This account details the people, speeches, food, music, weather,... you name it. Click here
