Restaurants

No kosher restaurants. Many others with salad bars, and a few which are exclusively soup/salad (e.g. Souper Salad, 6703 Slide Rd. 806-794-0997, has been acceptable to very orthodox, kosher Jews). Jason's Deli and New York Style Deli.

Kosher Food

The major supermarkets (Albertson's, United) can special order some kosher meats (e.g. Empire chicken) with a week's notice. Call - Albertson's: (806)794-9761. Call - United: (806)791-0220, or visit the United Web Page. Lowe's Supermarket at 82th and Slide stocks matzos and whitefish. All three chains have good selections for Passover. Finally, if you need, you can order kosher off the Internet, but these places come and go quickly. This one was the latest: MyKosherMarket
